Veterinary Technicians

Cesar Bonilla

Cesar graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Monterrey, Mexico in 1984 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Since 1989 Banks has been the lucky recipient of his wide range of skills in his role as chief Veterinary Technician. A tireless worker who will turn his hand to many different tasks, Cesar is working towards North American DVM status.

Jessica Miller (RVT)

Jessica joined Banks Animal Hospital in early 2003 soon after graduating from Seneca College as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has a household of multi-pet (four cats, two birds, and a dog) that ensures she never has a dull moment. After the arrival of bouncing baby Alyssa, Jessica took a well-deserved maternity leave, and then returned to Banks in the spring of 2007.

Animal Health Technician

Jeanette Peckford

In 1999 Jeanette, a proud Newfoundlander, graduated from Lawrence College, St. John's as an Animal Health Technician. She joined Banks Animal Hospital in November 2001. At home, two cats, Eugene and Amy, and a turtle comically named Legs, share her affections. Jeanette loves taking care of the kittens at Banks, but has a soft spot for senior cats.

Veterinary Assistants

Marissa Belarmino

Marissa holds a veterinary degree from the Philippines and is currently working on a veterinary technician diploma in Ontario. She has raised dogs all her life and is a lover of birds. She's a dedicated worker and easy to work with. She enjoys her veterinary assistant's duties such as performing lab tests, processing x-rays and taking care of patients.

Yasaman Baharmast

Yasaman joined the practice in January of 2011 as a regular part time ward staff. A ver nice and personable lady, she always greets the clients with a smile. Her work ethic is exceptional and she brings a very postive attitude to the workplace. Yasaman is currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in King City.

Client Service Representatives

Rose Policarpio

Rose has been with BAH since July of 2009. She brings with her a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of the Philippines as well as years of working in a corporate setting and dealing with clients. Rose has raised dogs all her life. Her constant companion these days is Klara, her loyal German Shepherd.

Beatriz Bisa

Beatriz joined the practice in October 2007 as a Client Service Representative. She is capable of multi-tasking and has a very pleasing personality. A dog lover herself, Beatriz enjoys serving our clients with a sweet smile.

Monika Ng

Monika is a 2010 graduate of Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Animal Care Certificate Program. She joined the practice in May of 2011 as a client service representative / veterinary ward assistant. Fluent in both English and French, Monika makes sure that the client's needs are taken care of in a timely manner. She’s capable of multi- tasking and always lends a helping hand in the wards when needed.
